I was contacted by Mr & Mrs Barker of ‘Mill Pond Fish Farm, Langwith, on the recommendation of Mr Varney.

They required a little advice on having the floor laid in their newly built house. I went over to Langwith and met with Tim Barker. Because he was going to have a ‘York Stone’ finish over the floor he was concerned about the depth of screed under the stone slab finish. Luckily there was enough depth to allow for 60mm floor screed and 30mm stone slab with bed, the finished floor will not encroach over the bottom rail of the folding patio doors.

I am hoping for a nice trout out of this one!
