This particular job was carried out for a Chesterfield Building Company. The job was pretty straight forward except the floor was going to be laid on block and beam base. Normally ‘Supreme T Beams’ are spanned from foundation brick work and then infilled with breeze blocks.

This floor had the normal ‘T beams’ but the infill blocks were polystyrene. To insure the finished floor had the correct strength we decided to put ‘A142’ reinforcing mesh on a screed base and then screeded to a finish.
